Event 1

Participation: The event involved 50 citizens (24 local and 26 foreign), including 4 participants from the city of Atalanti, Greece, 4 participants from the city of Aheloy, Bulgaria, 3 participants from the city of Forli, Italy, 3 participants from the city of Fusignano, Italy, 6 participants from the city of Argenbuehl, Germany, 2 participants from the city of Lupeni/Farkaslaka, Romania and 4 participants from the city of Cieszanów, Poland, as well as 24 local participants of the city Diósd, Hungary.

Location/ Dates: The event took place in Diósd, Hungary from 29/04/2015 to 01/05/2015
Short description:  The aim of the event was participants’ understanding that migration had occurred in the past as well, and there were various forms of such movement, occasionally it happened against the wishes of people. The results of free movement in Europe can be assessed in the mirror of the past occurrence.  People have to plan their future by taking into consideration the legal framework in the EU. Another aim was interpretation and understanding of the tasks and activities of the project and distribution of the partners’ roles. 

Event 2

Participation: The event involved 48 citizens (26 local and 22 foreign), including 4 participants from the city of Diósd, Hungary, 2 participants from the city of Aheloy, Bulgaria, 3 participants from the city of Forli, Italy, 3 participants from the city of Fusignano, Italy, 4 participants from the city of Argenbuehl, Germany, 4 participants from the city of Lupeni/Farkaslaka, Romania and 2 participants from the city of Cieszanów, Poland, as well as 26 local participants of the city Atalanti, Greece.

Location/ Dates: The event took place in Atalanti, Greece from 03/06/2015 to 05/06/2015
Short description:  The aim of the event was to get aquainted with Local Immigrants associations, to have dialogue with invited experts and local politicians on migration, meetings with persons involved in the migration process, especially people working on the social policies sector and immigrants. Partners also had discussion between politicians, immigrants, school students and visited enterprises run by immigrants

Event 3

Participation: The event involved 49 citizens (26 local and 23 foreign), including 6 participants from the city of Diósd, Hungary, 2 participants from the city of Atalanti, Greece, 3 participants from the city of Forli, Italy, 2 participants from the city of Fusignano, Italy, 3 participants from the city of Argenbuehl, Germany, 4 participants from the city of Lupeni/Farkaslaka, Romania and 3 participants from the city of Cieszanów, Poland, as well as 26 local participants of the city Aheloy, Bulgaria.

Location/ Dates: The event took place in Aheloy, Bulgaria from 26/06/2015 to 28/06/2015
Short description:  The aim of the event was to exchange views:  Bulgaria and the territory of the EU from migration aspects. There were presented issues like European policies, actual questions and political/legal answers as well as fears from migrants of the less developed countries.

There were interviews and discussions with persons who had worked or studied abroad. Feedback to the local society.

 Event 4

Participation: The event involved 76 citizens (53 local and 23 foreign), including 5 participants from the city of Diósd, Hungary, 4 participants from the city of Atalanti, Greece, 4 participants from the city of Aheloy, Bulgaria, 3 participants from the city of Argenbuehl, Germany, 4 participants from the city of Lupeni/Farkaslaka, Romania and 4 participants from the city of Cieszanów, Poland, as well as 53 local participants from the cities Forli (50) and Fusignano (3), Italy.

Location/ Dates: The event took place in Forli, Italy from 25/09/2015 to 27/09/2015
Short description:  The aim of the event was to recognise the wide ranging experiences and operative practices of the City Forli. The role of the non profit civil organizations showed a way of managing the increasing problem of the migration, especially the illegal invasion to EU countries. Italy can be considered as one of the most influenced country in this problem, and Forli presented a range of positive initiatives.

 Event 5

Participation: The event involved 50 citizens (34 local and 16 foreign), including 2 participants from the city of Diósd, Hungary, 3 participants from the city of Atalanti, Greece, 2 participants from the city of Aheloy, Bulgaria, 4 participants from the city of Argenbuehl, Germany, 2 participants from the city of Lupeni/Farkaslaka, Romania and 3 participants from the city of Cieszanów, Poland, as well as 34 local participants from the citiesFusignano (30) and Forli (4), Italy.

Location/ Dates: The event took place in Fusignano, Italy from 18/11/2015 to 20/11/2015
Short description:  The aim of the event was to see good examples how to help the integration of the immigrants, showing also the positive potentials of these changes in the local society. Partners were able to take over some concrete examples of supported integration of different groups of immigrants.

Event 6

Participation: The event involved 50 citizens (23 local and 27 foreign), including 6 participants from the city of Diósd, Hungary, 4 participants from the city of Atalanti, Greece, 2 participants from the city of Aheloy, Bulgaria, 4 participants from the city of Forli, Italy, 2 participants from the city of Fusignano, Italy, 1 participant from the city of Lupeni/Farkaslaka, Romania and 8 participants from the city of Cieszanów, Poland, as well as 23 local participants of the cityArgenbühl, Germany.

Location/ Dates: The event took place in Argenbühl, Germany from 26/06/2016 to 28/06/2016
Short description:  The aim of the event was to give the participants information about the history of migration in Europe and to make them realize the heavy problems accompanying asylum and immigration. The real processes and social impacts of the immigration were understood, and the way of integration of the immigrants was discussed.

Event 7

Participation: The event involved 50 citizens (25 local and 25 foreign), including 4 participants from the city of Diósd, Hungary, 4 participants from the city of Atalanti, Greece, 4 participants from the city of Aheloy, Bulgaria, 4 participants from the city of Argenbuehl, Germany, 3 participants from the city of Forli, Italy, 2 participants from the city of Fusignano, Italy and 4 participants from the city of Cieszanów, Poland, as well as 25 local participants of the cityLupeni/Farkaslaka, Romania.

Location/ Dates: The event took place in Lupeni/Farkaslaka, Romania from 02/09/2016 to 04/09/2016
Short description:  The aim of the event was to highlight the real migration possibilities for the citizens starting from a Romanian town. The aspects of a local authority were discussed in detail, comparing the opinions of the partners from different countries.

 

Event 8

Participation: The event involved 90 citizens (49 local and 41 foreign), including 9 participants from the city of Diósd, Hungary, 4 participants from the city of Atalanti, Greece, 6 participants from the city of Aheloy, Bulgaria, 8 participants from the city of Argenbuehl, Germany, 3 participants from the city of Forli, Italy, 5 participants from the city of Fusignano, Italy and 6 participants from the city of Lupeni/Farkaslaka, Romania, as well as 49 local participants of the cityCieszanów, Poland.

Location/ Dates: The event took place in Cieszanów, Poland from 28/09/2016 to 30/09/2016
Short description:  The aim of the event was to discuss progress of the project, do necessary closing tasks.

Partners also collected suggestions for developing the strategies – how to lower the number of emigrants. They visited the Ukrainian border and the newest and most modern border crossing EU/Ukraine in Budomierz

Project was summarised and conclusions with European dimensions were drawn.
